It's all about the horses!

Over the past two years I have come to know two very special people, David Melina and Kathleen Schurman.  Kathleen and David are the owners of Locket's Meadow Farm in Bethany, CT.

LMF is a PMU horse rescue and a riding center, at least that is what is started off being.  Now it is filled with animal rescues of all types, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chicken, ducks, geese, alpacas.

Kathleen is also a published author.  Her latest book is "Captain of the Dance" a  book that further chronicals the exploits of the animals and humans of Locket's Meadow Farm.

I have been a volunteer at the farm since October 2006 and cannot think of a better way to spend my spare time:)
